I just got mine last week. I had the older version and it was good, but the 3g is fast for data transfers. The battery life is not that great, but you don't have to have all of the bells and whistles on all the time either. I am with Pelotonics, a group collaboration solution. We just did an integration with Evernote. Check these use cases for how we are using the iPhone as a capture device for ideas and then turning them into tasks within Pelotonics.
